Attending church can be a big decision.

Whether you are moving here, visiting on vacation, or you are new to church entirely, here are some common questions and answers that may be helpful.

What are the services like?

Our music consists of a blend of both traditional hymns and modern worship songs.
Our sermons consist of scripture-based, Christ-exalting expository preaching.
We begin and end each service with scripture reading and prayer.
Our worship services start at 11:00AM and typically last around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

What is available for my children?

We provide Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 AM.
Worshipers of all ages are welcome during the worship service, but a nursery is provided during the sermon for children through age 4.

Additionally, on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, we provide IBC Junior Disciples - a junior church ministry for children ages 5-11. A time of learning and discipleship geared toward the unique ways that kids learn and grow. We commit to this being a safe, structured, and Christ-centered time for your children!

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for either members or guests. We welcome you to come dressed as you feel comfortable and appropriate. Most of our church family attend in
casual clothing.

What about giving?

While our church family takes an offering weekly to provide for our operating expenses and support other ministries across the world, our guests do not need to feel obligated to participate. You are our guest!

What are the people like?

Ira Baptist is made up of individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. Every person is unique, and Christ has designed the church to be that way.
